They are currently seeking a Interior Designer to join their team and contribute to the creation of beautiful, functional spaces for their clients.

Position Overview:

The Interior Designer will be responsible for assisting with the conceptualization, design development, and execution of interior design projects. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, as well as an ability to collaborate with senior designers and other team members. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, creative designer who enjoys working hands-on and contributing to all aspects of the design process, from initial sketches to final installations.

This is an onsite position based at our St. Petersburg office, requiring in-person presence to collaborate with the team and interact with clients and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Assistance:

  • Assist senior designers in developing design concepts, creating mood boards, and sourcing materials.

  • Prepare design presentations for clients, including concept boards, mood boards, and 3D renderings.

  • Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and technical drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.

  • Prepare and review design documentation, ensuring all drawings are accurate and meet project specifications.

• Project Coordination:

  • Support the project management team with timelines, budgeting, and vendor communications.

  • Work closely with vendors, fabricators, and contractors to ensure design specifications are followed during construction and installation.

  • Attend design meetings and site visits to track progress and address design-related issues.

• Client Interaction:

  • Participate in client meetings, helping to present design concepts and adjust plans based on feedback.

  • Collaborate with the design team to make necessary changes or updates to designs to meet client needs.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Utilize AutoCAD and SketchUp to produce accurate and detailed drawings.

  • Create 3D renderings and presentations that accurately represent design concepts and material choices.

  • Stay current on design trends, software updates, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2 years of experience in interior design or a related field.

• Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp for creating design plans and 3D renderings.

  • Strong understanding of interior design principles, materials, and space planning.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
